Boingboing does not equal media
In boingboing today a graduate student at UF wrote in with some information:
I'm in the graduate program at UF and got the real story straight from the College of Business Dean, John Kraft (he teaches one of my courses): Dr. Hall has had medical problems that have been known to the college over a year ago, and had recently been reinstated to lecturing since they thought he was ready. Sadly, he isn't and has been remanded for further help.
The reason that this hasn't been in any press is because the media has rightfully been respectful in its treatment of someone who really needs medical help.
He adds a bit. You can read the rest at the link. While the media has been respectful, you can't say the same thing for boingboing. But then, no one can accuse boingboing as fostering journalistic integrity.
