Yes, this is my annual call for a Major League Baseball team to tender an invite to future Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson.
Henderson was one of six MLB players to record 3,000 hits and 500 stolen bases. (Lou Brock, Ty Cobb, Eddie Collins, Honus Wagner and Paul Molitor were the others.)
Henderson received a backhanded endorsement from Jose Canseco, "... hollering to Rickey Henderson's in-laws as they walked away from the table with three signed books: 'That's one of the players who's not on steroids.'"
Steroids or not, Henderson deserves a chance to make a MLB team. Can you honestly tell me he can't add something to teams such as the Devil Rays or the DC Nomads? Those teams need a veteren to show them how to rally. Geez, didn't anybody watch Mr. 3000?
Don't answer that.

Couldn't agree more and would add the Cubs, Braves, Yankees and Giants as teams he could help

He definitly should be on a major league team. I seen him play in Newark and he is faster than just about anyone in the game and he is natural. He also plays for the love of the game- not money.
