It seems that a new study concludes that prolonged exposure to low-level magnetic fields can damage brain-cell DNA. From Science Daily: Lai and Singh hypothesize that exposure to magnetic fields affects the balance of iron in certain cells, leading to an increase in free iron within the cell. That free iron undergoes a chemical reaction, which releases "free radicals," or charged atoms that attack cell structures, including DNA, lipids and proteins.
Where can you find such fields? In blow dryers, electric shavers, and electric blankets. You thought I was bald, too lazy to shave and kept the heat up too high. Ha. I'm just a man who was ahead of his time.
