Asshole
I attended a Cincinnati Reds game the other night. You might have seen it on ESPN. The new ballpark is nice. Lots of seats with a good view of the field. I splurged on the premium "Scout Level" seats. Basically I was six rows behind the nine rows behind home plate.
Like I said, premium seats. If I discount the attorneys around me who spent the entire game talking golf, getting out of jury duty, new houses, weddings, frats, girlfriends of wives, how to impress the girls up front, who was buying, etc, etc.
I had to smile at one comment though. During the seventh inning stretch I took a stroll...as they played "Take Me Out to the Ball Game." It seems I had irritated someone when I ignored the announcer's call to "Please Stand and Join Us in Singing 'God Bless America'" As I walked away one fan called out sotto voice "asshole."
I let it slide. True patriots are well known for our trust in freedom of speech.
